Meet @ 8:00 am; hike begins @ 8:15 am
Details: 7.7-mile hike – more good training for the Camino. The loop hike will begin at the Visitor’s Center, then on to the Recharge Trail to Sendero Balcones to Little Windmill (primitive toilet here, also about 1/2 way point) then on to Joe Johnston to Dinosaur tracks +/- the Overlook Trail then Joe Johnston back to the Visitor’s Center. It is rocky and a bit of a challenge so wear appropriate footwear and consider bringing your trekking poles. There are also beautiful wildflowers, ancient dinosaur tracks, great shade trees, and lots of friendly hikers along the route!

Remember all your stuff: water, snacks, sunscreen, hat, personal first aid kit, trekking poles– all the normal things you usually take on a hike.

Legal Stuff: Per American Pilgrims, dogs and other animals are not permitted.
