Rogue River, OR: Southern Oregon Chapter, Rogue River Greenway Training Walk

Our training walks are meant to give you a feel for the average daily distance on the Camino — with a options built in, just like the real thing!

The walk will be in two parts:

Part 1: We’ll start by walking north along the Greenway to the City of Rogue River. Bring a lunch, or pick up a sandwich at Subway, and we’ll picnic back at Valley of the Rogue Park. According to AllTrails, this out-and-back section is about 7.2 miles.
Part 2: After lunch, those who’d like more mileage can continue south to Del Rio Vineyards, spend a little time at the winery, and then walk back to the parking lot — adding another 6+ miles.
If you’d like to join just for the second part, we expect to be back near the parking area around noon. Call or text Terri at 541-821-7178 to check where we are on the trail at that time.
Reminder: Bring water, lunch (or money for Subway), and your Camino spirit.
