Phoenix, AZ: Valley of the Sun Chapter, Ocotillo/Sidewinder Hike

Moderate hike in the Phoenix Sonoran Preserve. Watch the morning horizon for hot air balloons in the area. Trails are mostly sand and fine gravel, very comfortable to walk on with almost any kind of walking/hiking shoes. Total distance is about 8.5 miles and elevation gain of 700 ft.

We will combine the beautiful Ocotillo and Sidewinder trails with an option to add the Apache Vista trail.

There is no water at the trailhead so bring your own.
