Do you ever wish there was a pilgrimage closer to home? There is!!! Do you need some inspiration to start a Camino? Join the Valley of the Sun Chapter in welcoming Ann Sieben, from the Society of Servant Pilgrims as she shares her experiences walking in the US & Canada. There are a number of long walks in the US but the pilgrim experience is special – as is Ann’s vast and unique experience. She will focus on two little-known pilgrimages in the US that are most like the experience along the Camino de Santiago and lack a guidebook:

1) Shrine of St Rose Philippine Duchesne Pilgrimage – Along the Katy Trail between Mound City, KS (Sugar Creek) and the Shrine of St. Rose Philippine Duchesne in St. Charles, MO. Traverses 340 miles in 26 stages.

2) El Santuario de Chimayo & Shrine of the Mexican Martyrs – Between Chimayo, NM and San Luis, CO. Traverses 105 miles through many unique cultural zones and exceptional beauty, including the Taos Pueblo in 8 stages.

Attend this zoom presentation and be inspired by Ann to take on a new adventure – at home or abroad! Her breadth of experience is only matched by her infectious enthusiasm for the pilgrims’ experience.
