Online: Valley of the Sun Chapter, Hiking the Maricopa Trail

This Zoom presentation will cover The Maricopa Trail which circles the Valley of the Sun and connects nine of the County’s parks and the South Mountain Preserve. Pilgrim Jan Kaplan (Frances, Portuguese and Norte) has walked the Maricopa Trail and will share information and experience about the Trail, and inspire us to walk parts of it.

Jan will be sure to give us a fun and real sense of what undertaking the challenge would be like and help us succeed. If there is interest, we may even lead a few walks on the more than 50 stages of the Maricopa Trail. Don’t miss this presentation and learn about an opportunity to capture the Camino spirit in our backyard!
