New to the Camino de Santiago and don’t know where to start? Been around a while but still have questions? Just curious about the Camino? Then this presentation is for you.

Join the Northern California Chapter for a virtual presentation by Camino veteran Rob Nickerson on Camino basics. You will go away knowing what you need to know to start planning your first walk on the Camino or to make your next walk even better, or to just satisfy your curiosity. This information-packed presentation by a Camino veteran will be followed by time for your questions and answers.

Click the Register button above to sign up and receive the meeting room info in a confirmation email. You’re welcome to join the meeting up to 10 minutes before the start time to settle in. If you’re a first-time Zoom user, here’s a video tutorial (8 min) to help you get started.

Rob Nickerson has walked different parts of the Camino de Santiago eight times. He has covered all the ground from the Roncesvalles in the Spanish Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela (790 kilometers), walked from Porto in Portugal to Santiago (240 kilometers), and followed the Camino from Ferrol in the north to Santiago (120 kilometers). He has given a number of presentations to Camino groups locally, nationally, and internationally. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Northern California Chapter of the American Pilgrims on the Camino. Rob is a retired professor of information systems at San Francisco State University where he taught for 40 years.
