The NYC chapter needs you! We are looking for NYC-area pilgrims to help us plan chapter activities throughout 2022, both in person safely and online. Possible volunteer roles include, but are certainly not limited to the following:
- Mentoring coordinator
- Walks and hikes co-leader
- Social media lead
- Book club or film club coordinator
- Camino presentation facilitator – intro/Camino 101, give a presentation on your Camino(s), present your knowledge of Camino logistics and packing strategies, etc. etc.
Your ideas and creativity are most welcome
Your commitment can take many forms — co-leading a one-off hike or event, facilitating a regular social hour or walk, taking on an ongoing role, or anything in between. We are very interested in hearing your ideas! We will hold 2 Zoom meetings for chapter members to meet, share ideas for activities, and together make some plans for chapter activities in 2022. These meetings are scheduled for Friday, April 1 at 7pm and Wednesday, April 6 at 7pm. If you would like to participate in one or the other, please register in advance using the links below.
