A Zoom Tortilla Española Cooking Class!

Brittany says: “I cannot imagine a Camino experience without tortilla española!” But many-a-pilgrim have tried to replicate this simple recipe at home without success. If you are nostalgic for a taste of Spain or just want to learn the secrets of how to make a perfect tortilla this class is for you!
Cook from the comfort of your own kitchen on Zoom with our chapter coordinator, Brittany, who has all of the tips and tricks to make sure your tortilla comes out perfect every time! Make sure to purchase your ingredients ahead of time (list below) and sign up; those who register will get an email the day ahead of the class so you can get your tortilla cooking journey off of the right foot.

Whether you’re a seasoned chef or a beginner in the kitchen, this class is designed to bring the flavors of the Camino right to your home. Have your ingredients and cook along with Brittany! ¡Buen provecho y buen Camino!

Ingredients for Brittany’s Tortilla Española:

2 lbs waxy potatoes (I suggest Yukon Gold)
Salt (I prefer Himalayan pink salt, but Kosher salt works well too)
8 large eggs at room temperature (if you can get them fresh, even better!)
1 large white onion, chopped
Spanish extra virgin olive oil (you can find this at Whole Foods, World Market or order on Amazon)
Your favorite beverage to enjoy while cooking (Spanish wine, tea, café con leche, water….)
