The Camino de Santiago was one of the three great pilgrimages of Medieval Europe. Many of you have walked the Camino, or have plans to do so, each for his or her own personal type of pilgrimage. But what is a pilgrimage? Simon Reeve explores that question in a 3-part series made for the BBC called Pilgrimage. Join us as we discuss episode 3 — "The Holy Land". You should watch the program on your own beforehand, then we'll meet to discuss and share our insights.
Episode 2 "Santiago and Rome" will be on Wednesday, June 10th.
Some ideas for the meeting: Had you seen this series before? What words would you use to recommend the film to others - or not? If you've been to the Holy Land, do you think Reeve did it justice? What do you think a pilgrimage is?
Send us an RSVP and we'll reply with the password! Include "Holy Land", your first and last names and your email address.
