Come and listen to a book discussion on “Without Oars: Living a Life of Pilgrimage”, with author Wesley Granberg-Michaelson-Michaelson. This was written by a Protestant theologian, and past General Secretary of the Reformed Church in America. In his book, Wesley states, “This book is meeting that unexpected opportunity and asking whether we can leave our nets behind, get up and start walking.” We walked the Camino de Santiago Compostella in 2018. He blends a wonderful mix of theology, philosophy, Camino history and story-telling in his book. To get a sample of his writing, here is a link to his blog in Sojourners magazine: https://sojo.net/articles/all-are-pilgrims

Christine Petty, one of the coordinators for the Colorado Front Range Chapter, will talk with him about his book. There will lots of opportunity for the attendees to also ask questions. We encourage you to read the book—but if you don’t have the time–that is OK, as this will be an engaging discussion!

We are meeting from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM MDT on Tuesday, April 19, 2022
