For more than 1,000 years pilgrims have walked the Kumano Kodo trail on the Kii Peninsula in Japan. Michele Mosely will share her experiences along this rural lush route through forests, valleys, isolated hamlets and grand Shinto shrines. This presentation will be filled with practical details, what to expect, when to go and how to become a dual pilgrim with the Camino de Santiago. There will be wonderful photos of waterfalls, misty mountains, hot springs and local cuisine. There will also be plenty of time for questions. This ZOOM Presentation is a live-streamed of a program at REI.
