Morgan Hill, CA: Silicon Valley Chapter, Rancho Cañada del Oro Hike

Come explore this South Bay treasure, located just 30 minutes south of San Jose. It offers 5 to 10 miles of trails to hike, bike, or ride horseback through rolling hills and oak woodlands.

We will meet near the parking lot entrance at 8:45 am and wait for all hikers to arrive before departing at 9:00 am.

Masks are required initially, until on the trail with social distancing.

The hike will be on one of a few trails depending on what we want.

Hike distance is from 4.5 miles to 10 and duration is 2 to 4 hours all depending on the trail we choose.

Difficulty is moderate, with elevation change of 300 to 1600 feet all depending on the trail.

Free parking is available.

Items to bring; Good hat, water, snacks, hiking poles, and sunscreen.
