The Pink Moon will rise at 7:13PM so we will begin our walk at dusk to gradually adjust to visibility. The leisurely hike will include the Blevins and Moon Rock (of course) Trails. Both trails are packed gravel with a few sandy washes and little elevation gain. We will begin walking west on Blevins Trail to Moon Rock. We will reconnect with Blevins trail and walk west into the moonrise over the Superstition Mountains with little light pollution. BRING A FLASHLIGHT OR HEADLAMP and recommend wearing long pants or socks due to desert critters.

A $7 fee or Maricopa County Parks Pass is required

Total distance: ~4 miles – EASY
