Jackson, GA: Atlanta Chapter, High Falls State Park Hike

We here at the Atlanta Chapter of American Pilgrims love to find new places to walk, and this time we’ve found a true south side gem – High Falls State Park. There are two great trails that offer completely different experiences, as well as boating, fishing, and camping! But let’s get back to the hiking trails. We are going to walk the Tranquility Trail first, and then cross the bridge to walk along the river. Don’t forget your State Park Pass!

Please be aware that there are two parking lots, a small one by the park office and a larger one after you cross the river. We will be meeting at the larger lot on the other side of the river, but you can park at either. Look for the large Chapter sign. Hope to see you there!
