Local Ithacan, Rob Mackenzie, will share about his walks in Europe, including the Camino. He’ll spend most of his presentation talking about his hike in Britain from St Andrew’s to London. He’ll show a 20-minute iMovie “A Ramble in Britain,” and answer questions and share his gear list and references. We thought that we could also do a Camino gear list swap. So, if you have one that you’d like to share, bring it along with you and we’ll distribute them via our website.
We are super interested in hearing about Rob’s hikes and hope you are too. Dreaming of summer hikes along ancient pathways is a perfect activity for a snowy February afternoon in Ithaca.
The library closes at 4:30 pm so we will need to leave promptly. It will be a little early for dinner so we thought that could gather at Viva Taqueria afterwards for drinks and snacks for those who would like to socialize.
