Join the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter in Huntsville State Park for a training hike! This is rain or shine – after all this is training for the Camino!!! (In the event of dangerous weather such as lightning or flooding conditions, the hike will be cancelled – watch for an email if cancelled.) This is a 6- to 7-mile loop hike, moderate terrain with some incline and some roots & rocky areas so wear good walking shoes or hiking boots and poles may come in handy. There are restrooms at the Nature Center where we start; but there are no accommodations along the trail. Take water & snacks for the couple of breaks we will take. Take a picnic lunch for enjoying with the group after the hike at the many picnic tables within the Park.
