Capital Area Chapter members Sharon and Tom Morris are leading a hike on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 9am at Sweet Run State Park (formerly Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship) on its inaugural weekend. The state park designation becomes official on Friday May 26th!
This hike is 6.5 miles with 600 feet elevation gain. Meet at the Blue Ridge Center (trail head) at 9:00am, GPS coordinates: 39.293184, -77.725776, near the Education Center https://goo.gl/maps/QHnzWq2sLAaDTXi69
After the hike, for those that choose to do so, can gather for a little for lunch at Breaux Vineyards. Breaux has an outdoor area with picnic tables and allows outside food. Bring your lunch or an appetizer to share.
