Fort Worth, TX: North Texas Chapter, Camino 101 at REI Ft Worth

Do you want to walk the Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain or Portugal (or another route) but don’t know where to start? This information session is for you. Come and hear about the history of the Camino, how to get started, what to pack, the best guidebook(s) & apps to take, how to get there, accommodation options, women walking alone, and much more. These topics will be addressed by chapter members who have walked different routes of the Camino. There will be time for questions and answers as well as examples of packs and packing for both men and women. REI also has backpack and shoe experts available to help you select the right ones for you.
