We will walk around the RiNo (River North) District of Denver, and meander over into the Curtis Park Area and Five Points Area. There is so much to see! There are oodles of wall art/murals in RiNo, Historic Denver Churches, and Historic Curtis Park and Historic Five Points—where the legendary Rossonian Hotel is located along with the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library and museum and so much more. Come explore with us and explore this fascinating and historic part of Denver that include Denver’s first neighborhoods. It is a 3 – 4 mile walk, but will take close to 3 hours, as there is so much to explore and talk about! And when we’re done with the walk, if you want to talk more, there are lots of great eateries around RiNo we can walk to and talk “all things Camino”! We will be walking along commercial and residential sidewalks–so come prepared for uneven sidewalk surfaces (yes there are the old red flagstone sidewalks in some places) and depending on the weather, for possible snowy and icy sidewalks.
