It is at Cherry Creek State Park---BUT Meet at the parking lot of Village Greens Park by 8:45 AM and we will walk across the Dam Street to enter Cherry Creek State Park on foot.

Come and welcome in 2023 with a hike on New Years Day! We will work our way to the reservoir and offer a blessing for 2023. We will plan to walk 5 – 6 miles. It is pretty flat terrain. Last year we had to move the hike from New Years Day to 1 week later due to the frigid cold and snow and ice….This year we will keep our fingers crossed that the weather cooporates! But be sure to Register for the hike so you can be notified of any date changes due to untoward weather. And be sure to be prepared with warm clothes, dressing in layers, a warm beverage and even consider bringing micro-spikes or Yaktrax in case it is snowy and slick along the path. Maybe we will even see some wildlife along the trail…..
For the blessing bring 2 small stones….one to throw into the reservoir….and one to take back with you.
