This is an event ONLY for current paying members of the American Pilgrims on the Camino! If you are not currently a dues paying member, you can join here.
Gather at Chris Petty’s house after completion of the High Line Canal and Fairmount Cemetery hike for an All Hallows celebration with chanting and sharing of the Galician Fire Drink, Queimada, along with Tapas that people bring to share with others. When we light the Queimada (the Galician Fire Drink), we will have the traditional ceremony and read the “esconxuro”/spell to banish the witches and evil spirits! We will also have water and wine and beer and a non-alcoholic hot spiced drink. Please bring a Tapas to share with others!
