Dallas, TX: North Texas Chapter, SantiagoFest

Saint Matthias’ Anglican Church is celebrating Saint James Day Eve on Sunday, July 24th and they have invited the North Texas Chapter of American Pilgrims on the Camino to join them. Bring your favorite tapas, dishes to share, St. James Cake (Tarta de Santiago) and wine or soft drinks. We will gather at 6:00 in the parish hall. We will watch the fireworks from Santiago de Compostela.

If you will begin your Camino this year please allow us to send you on your way with a Pilgrim’s Blessing from Father Chris and a Pilgrim’s Shell from the North Texas Chapter. We will present shells to those who are planning to walk this year so please let us know if you are coming.

If you are considering walking there will be seasoned pilgrims to talk to. If you have walked already and want to stay connected to the Camino community then come and join us.

If you know anyone interested in the Camino please tell them about this event and/or bring them along.
