Are you preparing for your climb out of St. Jean Pied du Port or prepping for the hilly days on the Camino Norte or Camino Inglés? Or maybe you want a more challenging hike to have more time to share Camino experiences with fellow pilgrims?

Join us for the “Three Peaks” hike in North Cheyenne Canyon where we will summit three mountains – Kineo Mountain, Mount Buckhorn, and May’s Peak. This is a difficult hike with varied terrain, so make sure to have appropriate footwear and poles (if you use them). This hike is between 10-11 miles, and will require you bring sufficient food and water to last approximately 6 hours. We will break for lunch.

The hike is 4,900 feet in elevation gain, which is equivalent to the climb out of St. Jean, so prepared! We reach our highest elevation at 9,649 feet. Because of the challenging nature of this hike, we will have regular check-ins and can adjust accordingly. Summiting the mountains is optional, so we can decide as a group how everyone is feeling at the moment. If we do not summit the hike will be between 8-9 miles.

Please remember: NO dogs allowed, per American Pilgrims on the Camino policy.

A 10 – 11 mile challenging hike with 4,900 ft of elevation (similar to the climb out of St. Jean Pied du Port!)
Since this is a longer hike there are no formal plans to reconvene after the walk for a drink or food. Again, we will break for lunch during the hike. We hope pilgrims will coordinate on their own to meet up after the hike!
