Meet at the parking area in the NE section of the Garden of the Gods parking lot off of 30th Street and Gateway Road in Colorado Springs.

We will walk the Palmer Trail and Ridge Trail around the perimeter of the park. The total hike will be approximately 5 miles. It is Easy to Moderate in difficulty. Hiking shoes are recommended–and although there are some rocky sections of the trail, hiking boots are not required. The trail is only a footpath in some sections, so if you’re using hiking poles, please be cautious. Make sure to bring water and snacks. We will take a break half-way through the hike for a mini-shell ceremony and blessings for any 1st time pilgrims planning to walk the Camino in 2023.
Post Hike we will plan to gather for beverage and food at Red Leg Brewing Company at 2323 Garden of the Gods Road, CoS and more Camino talk!
