The Chapter coordinators have decided to cancel this outing. Just too much going on. And obviously you all can get out and do some social distancing on your own! The May 9th High Line to Fairmount Cemetery walk is still on the calendar and we'll see what's going on around the first of May. Be safe!

In March, we're going to try to slip in a walk on the High Line Canal in Centennial. The possibility of inclement weather will have us stick to an urban setting. The route will be about 6 1/4 miles starting where the High Line crosses East Orchard Road. The trailhead parking lot is 1.0 mile west of South Holly on the north side of East Orchard. See the PDF with the trailhead and the route. We'll walk outbound 4 1/4 miles to the Goodson Recreation Center and then return on a shorter route through residential areas back to the trailhead.

Download the trailhead location and the route.

If you have definite plans to walk or cycle on the Camino for the first time later in 2020 and would like to receive a scallop shell and a blessing, please let us know through ColoradoFrontRange@americanpilgrims.org and we’ll come prepared.

The High Line in this area is dirt, which leaves open the possibility for mud. It is also rather shady so there may well be brief stretches with residual snow. All dependent on the weather the week before the 28th!

Contact the chapter at ColoradoFrontRange@americanpilgrims.org for further information. This will be a rain, snow or shine event — within reason! Cancellation will be posted on the chapter's page and in an e-mail sent out the day before. Event day contact will be Gene at 303-999-5179. Hope to see you there!
