Albuquerque, NM: Albuquerque Chapter, Solstice Walk

This is one of a series of walks to celebrate the changing seasons. Walk is level on paths through open fields and along irrigation ditches and local parks. There are spectacular views of the Sandia Mountains, and opportunities to see wildlife and varieties of vegetation. Walk is about 4.5 miles and will take about 1.5 hours, more or less depending on the speed of the group. Early start time is to avoid the heat of later in the day. Bring hat and water. Hiking poles are not necessary. We appreciate knowing in advance if you are coming.
