Albuquerque, NM: Albuquerque Chapter, Rio Grande Nature Center and Bosque Ditch Walk

Distance: Approximately 4.5 miles with little to no elevation change. There is an option to increase the distance to about 5.2 miles. We will walk north along the Duranes Ditch to just south of Montano. West to the bosque and south through the bosque to the Rio Grande Nature Center, where there are restrooms. Returning to the bosque, we will walk south to Campbell Road and then east along Campbell to the Duranes Ditch and north along the ditch back to Arbor Rd. Allow at least 1 hour and 40 minutes to complete the walk. It should be cooler then, and the trees will be in full color.

Gather for lunch after the walk at El Patio Rio, 3851 Rio Grande Blvd. NW (Rio Grande and Griegos).
