Albuquerque, NM: Albuquerque Chapter, Piedra Lisa South Hike

Let’s hike Piedra Lisa South, one of my favorite hikes here. This trail is off of Tramway NE (north end) then exiting onto Forest Service Road 333. This is an out and back trail with 1,300 ft elevation gain, approx. 4.5 miles long total and will take approximately 3 hours. All Trails considers this a moderately challenging route. There are beautiful views on this trail of the Sandias and Albuquerque. There was some snow and ice on the trail as of Feb.12, but it was manageable.
