Albuquerque, NM: Albuquerque Chapter, Los Poblanos Summer Hike with Suzanne Blazier

Suzanne is planning a walk for the beginning of each season of the year in the Los Poblanos Open Space. This will be the first walk, on Sunday, June 20, at 9:00 AM. The terrain is flat, with views of the mountains. It follows irrigation ditches and goes through the Grecian Park on dirt and gravel paths. Approximately 4.16 miles in length. By walking in each season, walkers will see the changes in vegetation, birds and animal life over time. No real need for hiking poles. ELevation gain is 93 feet. There are two Porta Potties along the walk. Time will be from 1 1/2 to 2 hours, depending on the participants’ pace.
