The Gill Trail is a rugged 10.8 mile, scenic out-and-back hike that follows the South Platte River through canyon country. There is some rocky terrain and uneven footing, so sturdy boots and trekking poles (if you use them regularly) are recommended. This hike offers a rewarding view of Cheesman Canyon and Dam at the half way mark.
