You’re invited to join us June 3-10, 2025 for our Third Annual Cultural Journey!

American Pilgrims on the Camino Cultural Committee is pleased to invite you to participate in the third-annual cultural trip to Spain. This year the Camino Association of Burgos is inviting us to their homeland, to experience the splendors of Burgos! Will you join us? 

Participants will explore the Burgos region and its splendors from Tuesday, June 3, through Tuesday, June 10, 2025. The event will culminate with a farewell dinner on Monday, June 9. The cultural exploration of the former capital city of the unified Kingdom of Castile and Leon will allow participants to experience its ancient charm and modern vibes, as they embark on an unparalleled anthropological, historical and regional culinary experience, curated by the Asociación Amigos del Camino de Santiago de Burgos.

Each day following breakfast we’ll visit different towns, enjoy moderate walks on varied sections of the Camino, visit historic and religious sites, and sample the traditional foods and the region’s exceptional wines.

We’ll base our group near the Burgos city center at the Hotel Rice Bulevar, located at Calle Bonifacio Zamora, 1, Burgos, 09001 Spain.

What’s the cost?

  • Registration costs $1,362 (per person/double occupancy) 
  • A limited number of single rooms can be booked for $1,697 (per person, single occupancy)
  • You may register up to two travelers during registration, but both must be current dues-paying members of American Pilgrims on the Camino
  • Payment will be collected by American Pilgrims
  • Space is limited to 34

If you have a roommate you can enter that person’s name during registration. If you do not have a roommate, a same-sex roommate will be assigned. Registration includes daily breakfast and lunch, aperitifs, winery and museum visits, entrance fees, and daily transportation via executive motorcoach. We recognize you may have dietary needs/restrictions. Please indicate your specific needs on the registration form. Our Spanish hosts will make every attempt to accommodate dietary needs but we cannot guarantee such needs will be met. 


Registration closes on Saturday, March 15, 2025. We expect this trip to sell out quickly.

 
What’s NOT included in the package: airline, bus and/or train tickets to/from Burgos, evening dinners, travel and health insurance and incidentals.
To attend, you must:
  • Be a member of American Pilgrims on the Camino
  • Be at least 21 years old by May 15, 2025
  • Have a valid passport with an expiration date after December 15, 2025 (at least 6 months after the end of the trip)
Participants are responsible for ALL medical coverage and travel insurance policies and/or the review of their existing policies to confirm coverage is current during the duration of the trip. Neither Los Amigos del Camino de Santigo Burgos nor American Pilgrims on the Camino are responsible for providing travel and/or medical insurance coverage for any participant. Personal trip insurance is recommended.
 
Cancellation Policy:  Registration and payment must be made no later than March 15, 2025. Cancellations made before May 1, 2025, receive a full refund minus a $200 fee, provided American Pilgrims on the Camino confirms a replacement attendee. If we are unable to identify a replacement, we cannot provide a refund. We are unable to provide any refund for cancellations made after May 1, 2025.
