Buena Vista CA: San Diego Chapter, Buena Vista Park hike and optional Brunch

Where: Buena Vista Park – 1601 Shadowridge Drive
There is a light where you need to turn into the parking lot. The actual street is Antiqua. It is unlikely the lot will be full, but if it is, there is street parking in front of the park. We will reconvene at the duck pond on the right side of the parking lot.
Length: Apprx 2.5 miles
Meet at 9:45 am – start hike at 10:00.
Come walk in a beautiful park with great scenery and woodsy smells, on soft surface trails. The walk is approximately 2.5 miles and will take us about 1 hour. Walking poles not necessary – but please bring if you would like.
Although there is a lot of shady spots on this walk, it would be wise to bring a hat, sunscreen, and water
There are bathrooms in the parking lot and a water fountain outside the bathrooms.
The walk is flat – better for your joints than asphalt, since it is soft dirt.
Optional Brunch at 11:30 am: Curbside Cafe 307 Main Street, Vista. All welcome to join even if you don’t join the hike.
