Alpharetta, GA: Atlanta Chapter, October Hike of the Month – Jones Bridge Trail Park

The Atlanta Chapter invites you to join us for our October Hike of the Month! We’re heading to the northeastern part of metro Atlanta to the Jones Bridge Park Trail, in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.

We will be walking along the Chattahoochee River, slipping through a forest, checking out what is left of the old (1860’s) bridge, and if we are lucky, seeing a little wildlife. This is trail is on the easy end of moderate and just under 5 miles.

Because this hike is in a National Recreation Area, there is a $5.00 parking fee, or you can use your National Parks Pass or lifetime Senior Pass.

After the hike, please join us for lunch at El Potrillo Mexican Restaurant, 8465 Holcomb Bridge Rd Alpharetta, GA 30022 (in the Kroger shopping center on Holcomb Bridge).
