 in\n\nThis 4.4 mile hike is rated moderate and will be walked at a leisu
 rely pace with breaks to enjoy the expansive views and catch our breath.
 \n\nFrom the dog park\, we will walk east on the dirt road.  After abou
 t a 1/4 mile we will come to the trailhead on the right.  We will take 
 the Speckled Rattler trail up the hillside to Ridgeline.  The turnoff 
 to Ridgeline trail is not marked.  Most of the elevation gain is during
  mile 2 while traversing many switchbacks on Ridgeline.  Trekking poles
  are definitely recommended for the switchbacks.  At the end of Ridgeli
 ne\, we will take the Crankset trail back down the hillside towards the 
 parking area.  We will leave Crankset and take a shortcut trail back to
  the parking lot which will be visible on our left.\n\nAfter the hike\, 
 we can congregate at Lakeside Bar &amp\; Grill for delicious burgers and
  beer where hot and dusty patrons/pilgrims can blend.\n\nNOTE: If it is 
 unseasonably warm we will move the start time earlier.
