 haw -\nAbout the hike: This is a hike for experienced hikers.  The elev
 ation gain will prepare you for the climbs on the Camino Frances\, Primi
 tivo and Norte but the terrain will be rockier than anything you will ex
 perience so only join this hike if you enjoy and are used to a challengi
 ng hikes like this.\nWe will begin at the very last parking lot on Piest
 eway Peak Drive (where it dead ends). The trail used to be called the Ci
 rcumference Trail since we loop up and over to the back side of the moun
 tain and then walk around the north side before descending the westernsa
 ddle on the steps where others would climb to the peak. This counter-clo
 ckwise hike involves both saddles and views from both sides of Piestewa 
 Peak. The trail includes loose rocky sections as well as stairs while ga
 ining and losing elevation. Poles are highly recommended.\nCarefully rev
 iew the description on Alltrails to see if this hike is for you or con
 tact your hike leader.\nIf there is interest in breakfast burritos after
  the hike\, we can go to Los Taquitos on 16th St for conversation withou
 t the sweat and exertion.
