 et at the “The Columns” (aka Pergola) on the northeast corner of Oak
 land’s Lake Merritt at 10:30 AM. It’s a flat\, paved 3.5-mile walk a
 round the lake that takes about an hour and a half.\n\nAfterwards\, we u
 sually grab lunch in the area. Whether you’re a newbie or Camino veter
 an\, everyone is welcome. No RSVP required – just show up!\n\nDirectio
 ns: Take BART to the Lake Merritt or 19th Street Oakland station and nav
 igate your way to The Columns (~1.5 mi). If you drive\, make sure to giv
 e yourself enough time to find parking as there are many activities on S
 aturday mornings around the lake. FYI: There’s a small fee lot nearby 
 at the corner of Euclid and Grand Avenues.\n\nThe Ruff Stuff: For insura
 nce purposes\, we are unable to welcome dogs\, except service animals\, 
 at our events.
