 Mooner’s Hollow Trail at St. Francois State Park and meet for lunch af
 terward at Frankie Gionino’s.\n\nMooner's Hollow is a scenic\, 3-mile 
 hiking trail located in St. Francois State Park in Bonne Terre\, MO. Rou
 ghly an hour drive south of Chesterfield\, this loop trail features a ca
 scading waterfall\, clear creek crossings\, and unique rock glades.\n\nT
 he hollow is named after the moonshiners (illegal liquor makers) who use
 d the area during the past. The deep valleys\, isolation\, and cold\, cl
 ear springs of Coonville Creek made it the perfect hidden spot for their
  illegal stills.\n\nHIKE DETAILS\n\n 	Meet at the trailhead at 9:30 AM. 
 Find the blue-blazed trailhead at the footbridge next to Picnic Shelter 
 1\, in the first parking lot on the left upon entering the park.\n 	Dist
