 ey near the end.) Mixture of easy walking and moderate walking in the in
 s and outs of the G-A stream valley. Poles would be helpful there. Restr
 ooms and water refill available at Fletcher’s Cove on the towpath. Rem
 ember to bring fluids to stay hydrated. Insect repellant is advised – 
 we will be walking in wooded stream valleys. If desired\, hike may be s
 hortened by taking Metro bus on Mass. Ave. NW at the trail’s exit.\nMe
 eting point: Parking lot of Westmoreland Congregational UCC Church\, 1 W
 estmoreland Cir\, Bethesda\, MD 20816.\nEntrance off Mass. Ave. just bef
 ore entrance to Westmoreland Circle. Metro bus stops at locations on or
