 h breaks) hike on the American Tobacco Trail in Wake County.\nA beautifu
 l\, scenic\, almost completely flat\, not heavily traveled\, and mostly 
 shaded out-and-back walk along an abandoned railroad track (packed sand 
 surface) through Jordan Lake game lands with opportunities to see wildli
 fe and chat with chapter pilgrims.\nJoin us even if you don’t have the
  time or don’t want to walk the whole 12 miles. This is an out-and-bac
 k hike so you can turn around and get back to the starting point anytime
  to make it only 4 or 5 miles\, 6 or 7 miles\, or whatever. Just let the
  hike leader or sweep know you're heading back. There are water and rest
 room facilities at the starting and ending points and three water/rest/l
 unch stops at miles 4.0\, 6.5\, and 9.5\nFeel free to bring friends or f
 amily members. Bring water\, snacks\, and dress for the weather as we w
 ill hike rain or shine.
